Couples counseling helps couples of all types recognize and resolve conflicts and improve their relationships. Through therapy, you can make thoughtful decisions about rebuilding and strengthening your relationship. Oftentimes there are a few hot topics that resurface over and over in a relationship. By engaging in couples counseling, you will improve your communication and resolve problem areas. It's helpful to have a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist that's dedicated to healing your relationship and encouraging a shared vision.

Family counseling can be important during times of transition. Usual goals for family session are improving communication, solving family problems, understanding & handling special family situations and creating a better functioning home environment.

The Mindful Practice provides access to online counseling for teenagers 13-17 years. Most teens LIVE online and are tech savvy. Since teens are comfortable with the internet, therapy over the computer can feel more comfortable than talking to a therapist in person.



If you need support navigating a difficult life transition or want to tackle depression or anxiety, I can help. I provide safe and highly personalized one-on-one sessions that will give you the opportunity to talk through problems or situations. During your individual sessions, you can also explore who you are and how you can create new possibilities.


Tragedies can take a powerful toll on our mental health and test our coping limits. Therapy can help reduce the effects of traumatic stress and provide ongoing support following a tragedy. If you find it hard to get through the day, feel overwhelmed by daily demands and are unable to focus, it may be time to consider counseling. Counseling will help you with the challenges you are facing with work, family, friendships and give you space to heal from your loss.
